Textured terracotta planters: the new collection

During Fuori Salone 2025, we presented in Milan — in collaboration with Studio Andrea Castrignano — an exclusive collection of textured terracotta planters, the result of refined artisanal craftsmanship. The collection explores contemporary forms and tactile finishes, combining the warmth of terracotta with a sophisticated and versatile color palette. Each piece is designed to be a distinctive design element, suitable for both indoor and outdoor spaces.

Available in various heights, natural tones, and organic shapes, these planters represent a new vision of living — where craftsmanship meets Italian design.

A timeless, textured, and artisanal collection

The new terracotta planters are the result of a meeting between artisanal craftsmanship and contemporary design. Each piece is handmade using a carefully selected blend of natural clays, which gives the surface a textured, authentic feel that is pleasant to the touch.

The finishes are defined by natural nuances and slight irregularities—hallmarks of a non-industrial production process with attention to detail. Each planter features soft, simple lines designed to highlight the raw material and adapt to a variety of interior styles. The collection stands out for its nature-inspired tones and essential forms, making it ideal for modern interiors, commercial spaces, and contract projects. A versatile offering, created for those seeking functional objects with strong material character and artisanal appeal.

Colors, shapes, and sizes: design freedom

The collection includes a variety of conical and flared models, available in multiple sizes to meet any design need—from small decorative containers to large, scenographic formats ideal as architectural features for entryways, hotel lobbies, commercial spaces, or outdoor areas. Each shape is designed to enhance the textured quality of terracotta, creating light and shadow effects that highlight its artisanal surface.

The color palette draws direct inspiration from nature and Mediterranean landscapes: warm shades of rust and burnt red evoke the earth and sun; fresh, vibrant turquoise recalls the sea; and sophisticated anthracite gray, with its urban character, pairs perfectly with industrial and contemporary spaces.

This color range has been thoughtfully designed to integrate seamlessly into modern spaces, while also creating striking contrasts in more rustic or minimalist settings—offering maximum freedom in composition. Each planter can serve as a standalone statement piece or be paired with other elements from the collection to create true botanical installations. Perfect for residential interiors, showrooms, boutique hotels, or stylish terraces, these planters make it possible to craft indoor and outdoor micro-landscapes that convey emotion, balance, and a sense of connection with raw materials.

Versatile planters, ideal for both artificial and natural plants

Thanks to their proportions and generous depth, the textured terracotta planters are perfectly suited to a wide range of plant types, both artificial and natural. For indoor spaces, they are the ideal solution to showcase our large artificial plants—from tropical palms to extra-large semi-natural versions of Ficus, Maple, or semi-natural Gingko—elegantly enhanced by the planter’s solid base and tactile finish.

These planters are also perfectly suited for outdoor spaces. They can be paired, for example, with our UV-protected artificial Cycas plants, which retain their appearance over time even when exposed to direct sunlight.

If you prefer to purchase the planter on its own, no problem: their sturdy structure also makes them perfect for housing natural plants. Whether it’s a scenographic setup for a contract project or a green corner in your home, these planters provide an elegant and functional base to enhance any plant.
